What a year 2021 was! It was challenging as we re-entered work, school, holidays and events. Through all the difficulties, we continued to keep calm and carry on at Kerlin Walsh Law, as we have done for 20+ years.
We launched several new initiatives in 2021. We now go out Live from our office on Facebook every Friday from a themed platform, discussing an aspect or nuance of estate planning.
I have a monthly feature called “The Property Sisters” in the glossy Palos Park Life magazine, with my sister, Real Estate Broker Bridget Gricus. We offer tips and tricks on real estate and estate planning to enhance home ownership.
I continued filming my TV Show, Where the Road Rises, with PHTV Channel 4. We Zoomed with our guests until we all felt comfortable back in the studio. And, I am proud to say we did not miss a single month! 2021 marked my 10 year anniversary as producer and host with Channel 4. I am delighted to have this little glittering chip of glamor in my life and proud to bring amazing guests and valuable education to my senior viewers.
In 2021, we relaunched the “Share My Legacy” course.
This program helps you write your Legacy Letter, pass on the gift of your lessons, beliefs and traditions, so your valuable life will be remembered and future generations can learn from your experiences. The Share My Legacy course comes with a series of how-to videos and a beautiful workbook. I’m going to tell you a little secret about your Legacy Letter. You will start writing for your family but YOU will be the greatest beneficiary for what it teaches, affirms, heals and transforms about your life as you live it.
Next, we started TikToking!
TikTok is high energy at a lightning pace, a huge learning curve that I am loving and my boys finally think I am cool!
Maybe one of my proudest moments of 2021 was recognition as one of Who’s Who Top Attorneys of North America.
Recognition of legal excellence within my industry has been a true honor for me and Kerlin Walsh Law. I’m truly grateful to my partners, colleagues, friends and client family.
Serving the role as President of the Oak Lawn Chamber of Commerce was a challenge and a joy. I learned new organization and negotiation skills as we navigated both the traditional meetings and events, and the unique and difficult decisions the year presented. I have grown both personally and professionally from it.
I worked with a business coach extraordinaire this year, a huge shout out to Jean Kuhn of Bounce Solutions, and my practice has seen explosive growth.
In the midst of it all Kerlin Walsh Law has expanded to a Team of 12. Having outgrown our original office in Palos Heights at 11757 Southwest Highway, we expanded next door to 11759, giving us the space we need to serve you. We celebrated our grand opening on December 15th 🙂 And watch this space….we have plans for a satellite office, in 2022.
We appreciate you and your business, now and always. We’ll keep our focus on serving our clients, our business partners and the community, all the while believing – the best is yet to be.
